Guidance on Glutamine & Creatine

I've been reading on the boards, and its been very helpful. I have realised a lot of areas I need to improve/focus on (more protein intake in particular, pre and post workout nutrition etc..). However, I have a couple of questions on Glutamine and Creatine:

- I've seen your glutamine and creatine recommendations for pre and post workout shakes. But how about regular consumption? should I be taking both daily (I do weights twice a week - effectively Big's plan)? if so, how much?
- You guys seem to recommend CEE is better than Creatine mono? any recommendations on brands (for CEE and Glutamine)?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Guidance on Glutamine & Creatine

id use glutamine three times daily and take 2 - 3 servings of creatine.
glutamine upon waking before am cardio, after workout and before bed.
CEE before workout, afterworkout and if you want three servings one before bed...although i dont realy think its that necesasary.

as Adam says BSN cellmass is a hot favourite amongs many. Id look at a bulk powder company for amnio acids and creatines because its cheap, pure and you can take it according to your needs.

Re: Guidance on Glutamine & Creatine

I like glutamine myself, find it helps with my immune system / recovery. Research is inconclusive on it but it seems to do the job for me! I take glutamine first thing in the morning and last thing at night ( about 5gms ), and 1.5gms of CEE 45mins before a workout and straight after. On non training days one dose in morning and one in evening.

Re: Guidance on Glutamine & Creatine

I use CEE extreme my scitec (tablet form), but cellmass by bsn is also good but just hassel IMO to have to mix up, prefer to take the tabs. Glutamine i use scitecs ultra pure and have it 2 - 3 times a day.
