Getting good results from BSN Cellmass at the moment.

Also CNP CEE, and Arli N'Gorge are very good.

creatine , really helps ure endurace and makes u lifft more weights ive reolized, and build some muscle, there is much more kals from whey protein , but depends wich whey protein it is , as theyve got differents kals etc. also whey gives u energy and the protein from foods , whey is just an easy way to get ure protein intake.

I've been training for a year now but still haven't started taking any creatine - i always told myself it was better to get to grips with proper technique/diet etc before i started creatine

>>> just occured to me that it may be time to start taking it now

>>> would it really help improve gains???

>>> like, can you guys tell that it's working for you?

Sorry, i don't know much - but then that's what the forums and the search button are for

Creatine is NOT a muscle builder

Protein is the only muscle builder because the muscles are formed from amino acids.

If I had to choose Protein or Creatine I would choose protein everytime.

Whey Protein drinks are not just an easy way of getting protein in as if consumed at the wrong time they are quite likely to be used for energy or just excreted.

Whey protein should be consumed only at breakfast or after workout as these are the only times that the body is drained of aminos and the uptake will be fast enough to prevent too much excess being excreted.

Creatine is a cell volumiser and ATP increaser therefore it increases endurance and artificially increases the size of the muscle through fluid retention.

Creatine monohydrate may cause bloating in some individuals who can't absorb it properly.

I prefer a CEE product because it works well and does not give me any problems.

However my list of priorities is as follows

1. Food
2. Whey Protein shake
3. MRP
4. BCAAs before and after workout
5. Creatine

The top 4 are of nutritional value. Creatine is a performance product and so therefore should be utilised once everything else is correct.

Proper nutrition and hydration will do more for your gains than a drink of steak extract (creatine) will ever do.

Hmmm - increased endurance leads to gains in the long term though right?

Sorry, MRP, BCAAs?

If you just tell me what they are, i can find out for myself what they do! Appreciate the bit about creatine though - already cleared up a lot!

Not if you have insufficient protein (regenerating and repair tools)

MRP=Meal Replacement Powders

BCAAs = Branch Chain Amino Acid

BCAAs before a workout can increase endurance and if taken on an empty stomach can increase catecholimide release (fat burney things).

BCAAs after a workout can blunt catabolism - I think through cortisol suppression but don't quote me on that. Also can increase the anabolic response to PWO nutrition.
