| Re: creatine Hello mate.
Never used Creaphos - Is it monohydrate or eythel ester? (CEE)
If its monohydrate then there is a loading phase, if its CEE then there isnt.
Yes, you can still take it to lose fat - It will infact enhance your cardio and you wont cramp or get fatigued as quick when doing it.
Cheers
Paul

So yes you would lose strength

Whey Protein drinks are not just an easy way of getting protein in as if consumed at the wrong time they are quite likely to be used for energy or just excreted.
Whey protein should be consumed only at breakfast or after workout as these are the only times that the body is drained of aminos and the uptake will be fast enough to prevent too much excess being excreted.
Creatine is a cell volumiser and ATP increaser therefore it increases endurance and artificially increases the size of the muscle through fluid retention.
Creatine monohydrate may cause bloating in some individuals who can't absorb it properly.
I prefer a CEE product because it works well and does not give me any problems.
However my list of priorities is as follows
1. Food
2. Whey Protein shake
3. MRP
4. BCAAs before and after workout
5. Creatine
The top 4 are of nutritional value. Creatine is a performance product and so therefore should be utilised once everything else is correct.
Proper nutrition and hydration will do more for your gains than a drink of steak extract (creatine) will ever do. | What is a MRP???
i know that this is stupid but my brother gave me a tub of creatine powder and i've been using it without even knowing what it does, can someone please enlighten me? |

| Re: Creatine FAQ Thread - for all creatine enquiries Excellent Thread, alot of my potential Q's have now been answered!
Creatine - Effectively providing your 'system' with the ability to 'exercise' harder and for longer - increased endurance!
But by exceeding your natural threshold by taking Creatine, won't this also naturally make you stronger and you will put on muscle/mass (if diet and other elements are in place)?
So then when you come off Creatine, you won't 'lose' your mass/muscle form unless you reduce your intensity of training?
OR, no matter how well you building mass/muscle ON Creatine, when you come off it, is losing some of your mass/muscle inevitable? |

| Re: Creatine FAQ Thread - for all creatine enquiries Regarding Creatine CEE intake, on the tub label (I'm taking Caps) it states to take 6, approx 1 hour BEFORE the work out, on an empty stomach. So I've been going by this advice.
However, there appears to be conflicting information on the best time to take - some say at breakfast, some after the workout, or just before etc...
Am I getting the best benefits out of my CEE by taking mine 1 hr before a gym session, or??
Cheers in advance. |
