The board would then end up as a Sport forum with a sub-section for bodybuilding. Not what we want! The occassional MMA, WWE etc thread is okay and have provided some good threads in the past but we dont want to promote them IMO.

Re: MMA Forum

Yeah ,i see where your coming from.Atleast with thier own section people who dont like the sports dont have to come on those parts and slate the topic because its FAKE or CRAP etc etc. Just an idea tho

Re: MMA Forum

An argument could be brought up over we have a general section full of posts like "I hit my finger with a hammer" - now that aint really bodybuilding related.....

Whereas A lot of MMA or boxers use weights to increase mass and conditioning so IMHO, I do think it fits in well with this type of board....only my opinion though.

Re: MMA Forum

Yes for me,

Training is an essential part of MMA so is totally relevant, and i see nothing wrong in having a section where we can chat about UFC events...

bring it on i say

we already have a section where people can discuss ufc. same as everything else... in general.

now if you had said yes, a separate section in training specifically for mma training methods then that would be a completely different matter...

Ok, point taken...

i just feel some sort of section for MMA fans would be a good thing, perhaps like you said MMA training, i would personally like to hear from people who do MMA and what training they go through....

i appriciate you cant create a forum for every sport out there

but it looks like the NO's are going to win anyway...

Re: MMA Forum

I'm sure Genesis and Lorian can sort something out...like I dunno a link from each site? The problem I think is that MMA could have enough sections to fill a whole site anyway....with all the different elements too it....as does bodybuilding....so why not have a www.MMA.co.uk section on UK where its sponsored by Genesis's site and have a UK-M section on the MMA site that is sponsored by UK-M...

Then at least you can have teaser on there...? Or does that not make anysense lol

Re: MMA Forum

if you are running vb same as this board then it is just a simple live link on the home pages of both boards...

i've done it on my forum to here as an ad banner, but it can be done as a simple link if that is what people want.
