No its not a Kit Car, its a replica factory built car, kit cars are usually built at home by techies or engineers using donor parts, BRA are a company that produce a replica of the AC not a kit, two very different things, most Kit Cobras and cars are on a Q plate as they must use donor parts, a replica will use manufacturers parts made specifiaclly for that car not off the shelf for a Ford Sierra and then squeezed into place!
And yeah mate you are right an Shelby AC Cobra of which there are only around 100 surviving usable items left would cost you around £150,000 as a minimum, as for the GT40, i would get another replica, poss a chevy 5.7. block engine, again it would have to be factory built, what a car, so beautiful.
But lets see what the future holds, so many of you have been so kind to offer to store it whilst im away, i love that you would sacrifice your garage space for me, it means so much......... ;-P
