Atm its just one trip to the vets after another tbh, his paws keep getting infected, etc etc, its starting to p1ss me off, up until 4 yrs old he was never badly, now it just seems a matter of time, his mum and dad and some brother all got cancer unfortunately, its gonna cut us up if/when it happens.

| Re: staffordshire bull terrier My dog had to go earlier this year, he killed a Fox and badly injured another but doing so he tore his dew claw which had to be removed....as well as catching a million fleas from them also...
He was proud as punch though sitting there over a dead fox, the other one was lying at thre bottom of the garden. It hissed at me when I went near it, and the next morning was gone...
That'll teach them to tease him and nick his food....

| Re: staffordshire bull terrier we get him insured nowadays, because of the weight of him it was putting a lot of stress on his front leg joints so off to Liverpool we went top see a specialist, op, medication etc came close to 2.5k so we were lucky we insured him, paying that £170 premium aint too bad considering what it would costs over the year.

| Re: staffordshire bull terrier Here's a photo of my two Staffs.
The top one is the youngest her name is Tikka, the bottom one is called Nirvana she's 8, I also have 2 cats they all get on like a house on fire, they've been bought up the right way. The cats seem to rule the house though, when the cats are a sleep on the chair and one of the dogs walk past the cats claw their ****s in a playfull way, the dogs look at me as if to say are you going to do anything?? When they all decide to have a mad half an hour it's a laugh a minute when they all start playing, the dogs get the cats heads in their mouths, the cats run round the garden with the dogs in hot persuit the best thing about it is the cats don't even budge. I was talking to a cat breeder about it and she said it's a sign the cats trust the dogs with their lives.
They both get fed on chicken and fish, once a week I'll treat them to steak mainly on a Sunday, the cats also get fed chicken and once a week I'll treat them to a salmon fillett each.

Im pretty sure that presa canario's are banned on the uk dogs list.
WHY? WHY? WHY?
Why the fuk do these retards persist on trying to get hold of dogs that are on the banned dogs list?
The presa canario is a guard and fighting dog, the only reason one might want it would be on a farm or something like a guard dog for a big mansion. Its not good with people and also can be unstable.
Its these type of morons that are the ones in america who purchase lion cubs or leopard cubs and expect to be able to have them as a pet house cat
What is wrong with sticking to dogs that are good friendly pets, not trying to get hold of illegal dogs or other animals from abroad to 'impress' or look 'ard???
Btw, that staffy looks beautiful, we already have a dog mate and live far from you but i hope you manage to find her a good home |
