guys, i am selling my r/c buggy. it has a .26 engine, everything included - radio, servos, glow starter, rotostart and batterypack.

It's the same as above, but has slightly different colours. I'm selling it because my gf is buying me an hpi savage! the car is in excellent nick, has hardly been used tbh, has a few scratches underneath the chassis, thats all.

I have a off road version, 1/10 model... Man so much fun. I read that the 1/8 versions are more robust too.

what model you got mega? I used to have an hpi rush, the yellow one a few years back, then i had a scheumacher xtr, sh1ty build but rapid, would pull wheelies easy! Now ive got the lightning buggy, wanting the savage monster truck though. i have to say hpi do make the best models, the one im selling is hot bodies which is very similar, top quality!

Oh man you know way more than I about these things, I got a 1/10 model 4WD off roader. It can pop a wheelie, but I will never remember the model etc. unless I go home and check it. Some of those 1/8 monster trucks are just awesome though.

The only thing I find a bit annoying is that you are never really 100% sure it's tuned perfectly, like when I change fuel type I have to re-tune it, it's fun and everything but for a newb like me a bit frustrating. I once turned the inlet valve the wrog way and couldnt start the sod for like an our until i realised :( so embaressing lol.

jimmy if ure gettin the savage make sure its a big engine one not the 21 engine wunt go below 25 in savage coz not enough power coz its a heavy truck i myself have the thunder tiger gt monster truck put a 26 engine in it well fast, i also have the rush (red one) and gv models rex buggy 1:8 smart cars well loads a fun in em

yeah, they are high maintenance things! it is a little annoying yeah, because anytime the weather changes, you have to tweak it. doesn't really matter if it's not tuned perfect anyway unless you are racing. I think someone needs to invent an ecu for them so they would tune themselves! that would be awesome.

Oh btw, if someone buys it, theres a fail safe included as well. Means if the car goe out of range, which is half a mile or so anyway, or the battery in your radio dies, the brakes on the car will come on immedietly. very handy!

if i get it, im going to get the savage self assemble (ss) 4.6 version. can get it from america including postage from tower hobbies (and a promo code) for £208. just need to buy radio set with high torque servos.

got a few of these in mine. brother had a 1/10 impreza shell. hit a curb, car was doing about 30 and bent it all up. stuck it on the vice, good as new. got a 1/6 scale 4wd buggy somewhere, comes up to your knee. sick.

i always find the pull cords snap though. pain in the **** re-setting that wire spring.

i know, i remember on my old buggy, the first time i tried to start it, the cord was sliced by the engine fins!! nightmare!!

the one im selling doesnt have a pullstart its got a rotostart, so much easier, although if the battery hasnt been charged youre screwed!

Do yourself a favour and buy a Losi Monster Truck or even a Traxxas Revo 3.3 the HPI Savage is outdated and actually crap IMHO. I do write for Maxbashing Magazine and been doing Nitro RC (offroad only) for years.
