Aye gold is a very bad investment these days. I have a 4oz chain and that was only a grand and i would even get 500 for it now i dont think.

I only usually pay no more than £100 per oz for gold, Had them all, the big 6 oz bracelets, the chunky rings, the 9 oz chains, (had a 12 oz once) but I've grown up a bit now....lol
I never paid more than £100 per oz, and I also never made back what I bought them for... Plus you can go to birmingham jewellrey quarter and pick up gold for £100 per oz, I haven't been for a couple of years, but I doubt if the price has changed much
Oh yeah, when I had one chain I paid £900 for, I got an insurance valuation certificate for £2800...it doesn't mean that's what it's worth by a longshot

yeh tis grim my mate got a 6oz wrist chain n only paid 500 for it loadsa people have them now as somebody said gold isnt the best investment anymore

so u'll be payin like 250 quid for that brand new in london mate
