Chicken Pitta!

Hey Guys,

I've been making two chicken pitta's daily, and I love them!

Toast the pitta's lightly to open them up, and cut them down the side. Layer the inside with a little mayo.

Shred my chicken, usually 150g and fry some chopped onions in a pan. Add the chicken to the pan along with some soy sauce and a little sweet chille dipping sauce. After a minute or so, put the mix into the pittas!

Enjoy!

Re: Chicken Pitta!

Sounds pretty good. In USA pittas are already opened? Since they are do I still have to toast?

Re: Chicken Pitta!

i like to dust a chicken breast with jamaican jerk and wrap in tin foil.
20 mins in the oven @ 200c

Slice and serve in a pitta with lettuce, cucumber and low fat garlic/herb dressing

Soy sauce is high in sodium, i prefer nandos peri peri sauce to give my chicken that extra flavour.
