| Super Moderator | Mate best thing you can do is train chest every day this week and maybe even next with the heaviest weight you can manage If it doesnt hurt after that you aint training hard enough.

However it could just be a popped blood vessel. I was practicing with some wooden numchuks, hit a major vein on my wrist, popped it and my whole arm turned back, purple and then all shades of green and yellow. BUT SEE a doctor for your injury! Take 1500IU vitamin E 2X a day for the next 2 weeks to help prevent any internal muscle scarring. What's the latest news, Paul?

I was just making a point that what looks really bad may not be as bad as it seems, though I suspect with that weight load, he tore it good. :( If it were me, I'd go to the doctor to see how serious it was. I'd take the vitamin E to help prevent the scarring and depending on how bad the tear was I might increase the amount of E to 3000IU 3X a day, ( no need to say keep the protein levels high) I'd rest it and after 3 days I'd start to do some slow stretch movements to work the muscles, but no weights for at least 7 days or more depending on how serious the tear is. Excerpt from pectorial tear treatments "Until recently, the diagnosis of pectoralis major muscle injury has been based on clinical assessment, the results of which may be misleading and are often affected by hemorrhage, tenderness, or spasm in the acute setting. Preoperative diagnosis of the location of the tear is important because tendon avulsion from the humerus is treated with prompt surgical repair, whereas muscle-tendon injuries are generally treated in a conservative manner (2,3). Early surgical repair allows avoidance of adhesions, muscle scarring, fibrosis, and atrophy and hastens the return of the athlete to competition. Chronic injury presents a greater surgical challenge due to retraction and scarring after complete avulsion of the tendon from the humerus (4) and hence is important to identify." pectoralis major

| Sexy Moderator | Hello Gang I didnt train at all tonight, feel **** for it today as I havent trained since friday, but im sure its not going to do me any harm. I still took my IGF, HGH and Test/Tren to help with the repair, and I ate a lot of food yesterday - Well, as much as I could face (also got a ****ty cold atm :(!! GRR) Gonna keep the cals high today to aid in repair. As for the injury - The brusing actually looks a lot better today, but there is actually more pain there today, Weather thats from where i was prodding it about, etc yesterday, im not sure. I dont trust doctors when it comes to sports injuries (Most of you know why that is!!!!) I`ll ride it out this week, keep an eye on it, and wont train chest. Thanks for the advise gang. Oh - John - 120mcgs IGF is an ample dosage - Anything over is pointless and wasting your money. As long as you split it over 2 or 4 muscle groups then there is no problem with that dosage.

| Sexy Moderator | Yes Doctors kept telling me it was just a sprain. Almost lost my leg, and died from septicimia - 3 operations, and 20 weeks out of the gym later, I was able to train again!

That's unbelievable that a doctor would miss septicemia!!! We have specialist for everything in the USA including sports injuries. If you've got a cold your body is under some massive stress. If you like to eat liver, eat 4 oz a day. Take your vitamin C and E it will work hand in hand with your IGF, HGH and Test/Tren I'd get some extra A and B vitamins, zinc and magnesium along with the C and E in ya to boost your immune system, Keep a look out for any redness or tenderness or warmth --- signs of infection. How weak does it feel when you try to move your arm up or out to the side? What kind of pain, if any, do you feel?

| IF YOU BUILD IT.....THEY WILL COME! | hey paul did you inject you pec before the workout? it sounds like the igf has caused this redness is it hard to touch? might of had a little igf around the muscle! has the redness moved? not a doc but doesnt sound like a tear to me (hope not anyway mate) tears usually go black and blue from the blood build up! just my opinion as always!!!
