Does sound like a tear to me.
Not much you will be able to do about it.

If it hurts doing something then dont. I would do as pete said and work around it.

I know they also massage muscle tears.

I had pulled something in my chest at one point in time ... I immediately forsook the exercise that caused it (Until it healed up), and chose to work around it. Within a couple weeks I was back to my old self again.

If you experience anything, even as minor as it might be, I would definately back off and figure out a way to train around it. Better that, than possibly messing yourself up real good =/.

Good luck bro

thanks for the advice guys. decided to see a chiropractor today and had a one hour examination.she,s going to do some kind of massage to stop the build up of any scar tissue and speed up recovery. she's also going to sort out my shoulder as it's a bit out of alignment and sort out my knee's.basically a full service.
if any one has any kind of pain or injury i highly recomend going to a chiropractor
