High protein, tasty quark pancakes

These are lovely, tasty pancakes!

120g quark
30g oats
4 egg whites
1 whole egg
cinnimon to taste.

Blend the lot in a blender, spray a little EV olive oil in s frying pan and cook like regular pancakes!

Add splenda and lemon or whatever you want, tastes just like the real thing!

Makes 3

Best high protein pancake recipe Ive had!

35g protein
7g fat (not including olive oil)
38 carbs

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quark_(cheese)

Quark is a soft cheese & its high protein, no fat, low carbs.
Its casien which means its very slow digesting. Tastes bitter or sour on its own. Add some sweetner or hot chocolate powder ect and you have a very tasty high protein yougart. Its so versitile its great. I could eat tub after tub!

I get mine from Asda & Tesco, its by ther cheeses in a tub

Re: High protein, tasty quark pancakes

Because if you add more yellows the consistancy is crap. The more whites you use the more stable the mixture is

I tried it just 2 whole eggs and its crap lol.
