Bedtime meal with Quark

Ok,

1. 250g of Quark into a bowl (50p from Sainsburys/Tesco/Asda- 32-35g of protein per tub.
2. Water
3. Opinions chocolate of your choice

Basically add the water until it's as thin as you'd like and add some opinions chocolate to take away the sour taste. Can make it into a yoghurt type mixture and it tastes sooo good.

I normally have this with some peanut butter, or some almonds and fish oil about 30 minutes before bed.

About 50p a tub in Tesco/Sainsburys/Asda. (Sainsburys is by far the best quality, the rest stay a little bitty).

Re: Bedtime meal with Quark

In Sainsburys in isle with the cheese. In a blueish round 250g tub. 52p

In Asda / Tesco it's at the END of the isle with cheese type stuff. Again 52p, but in a rectangle 250g tub.

The Quark at sainsburys is alot nicer than Tesco / Asda, which stays lumpy.

Sainsburys stuff is smoooooth!

Re: Bedtime meal with Quark

Nope, cold water. You can add milk to thin it up too. I've been using water lately as I've been dropping weight!

AdZ9, yes the hot chocolate powder!!!!

Infact, going to have it in a minute with some almonds and fish oil! Mmm!

:bounce:

Re: Bedtime meal with Quark

Can someone post up a picture of the tub. Maybe I'm being retarded (which is very likely) or the backwards versions of supermarkets where I am don't stock it.

Is it kept with the cottage cheese?
