![]() | Quick easy, tuna + eggs. Ok, this is a pretty quick / cheap "meal" to prepare and provides loads of protein. Great for when cutting. It's pretty complicated so I'll try and explain it the best I can. 1. Put a whole tin of tuna in a bowl 2. Cook 3 full eggs.. 3. Mix 4. Enjoy I normally have this with some fish oil caps and maybe some almonds. (Not mixed in) Very easy, quick protein / fat meal. |

Unfortunately sounds like a heartattack waiting to happen too. You would be better off having some steamed vegetables, Quinoa and a fat tuna steak on the side, less cholesterol, less saturated fat and its a balanced meal packed with protein, fibre, phytonutrients, efa's and vitamins. Frying releases free radicals in the item being fried and the oil its fried in, it also destroys some of its nutritional content, it isn't a healthy way to cook. SD

OKay mate I was being tactful but as you want to pursue it, the meal suggested lacked any nutritional value beyond Protein and showed a complete lack of imagination, even as a one of meal, it was nutritionally devoid, why not post up a bacon butty next time no-one would have thought of that either? Anything in quantity can be bad, eating too many eggs will kill you. It's like saying potassium won't kill you - yeah a few micrograms won't but eat a few grams of it and bye bye. I see what SD is driving at, that you should aim to have a balanced meal with fbre, fat , protien, carbs, minterals not just protian and fat. Common sense really.

That's not the point, the free radicals are nothing to do with the fat profile. A free radical is basically an unstable atom, like Oxygen is actually O2 (two Oxygen atoms bonded) which is stable, but the free radicla versin is just the single O atom, which has a tendancy to bond with anything it comes into contact with i.e. you. Which isn't good.

If that's the case, I should be dead by now, as should Robsta9. I have 16 eggs a day - 4 yolks & 12 egg whites. Rob has a lot more than me I think?? Are you referring to full yolks that will kill you Megatron?
