how about

shredded wheat, weetabix, or scrambled/boiled eggs with wholemeal bread.

Mate just mix it up a bit and you,ll be fine, or i know you said you dont like oats but you dont need to cook them, put some oats in a blender, with water or milk add some protein powder if you like, some peanut butter, honey, what ever you do like, give it a blend and get it down you, good luck.

I know you hate oat meal, SO DO I, i dont normally have an appetite in the morning so the only way to get protein and energy for the morning for me is....

Oats soaked overnight added to the blender with whey powder in the morning for breakfast

You hardly notice the oats and definatly dont taste them....Give it a try you never know...

Its fast and easy

Agree with John, concentrate on getting complex carbs into your system along with some protein. Sometimes if I'm in a rush an MRP will do.

I dont have time or an appetite for big breakfasts either - I have a toasted raisin and ciniman baguel with jam followed by 1 whole egg and a further 5 whites scrambled then a protien shake on top of that. Works out around 600 cals - plenty of protien and enough carbs for the morning! Tekes about 5 mins to prepare and the same to eat - the only slightly filling part is the baguel.

Jim, you dieting or trying to gain weight?

You could always have fruit and eggs for breakfast. That would have a carb (fruit), protein (egg), fat (egg) in that meal. Would be considered ballanced too.

If you are gonna eat a cerial, get the less suggary kind and add a protein to it like whey. You will need to add a fat to that so you can add some fish oils to it, or flax seed to the cerial along with the protein too.

You bumped a thread from 2005 just to quote somebody and not even say a word? How sad.
