Re: whey in with the porridge

i have porridge oats (microwave heated with milk with whey mixed in most mornings, i think it tastes so much better.

but before mixing the whey, let the oats cool down a little in case if its too hot might destroy the protein?

the thing is, the bits of whey stuck to the sides/bottom of the bowl which I just put some water in and drink the water off the bowl to not waste as much whey.

Re: whey in with the porridge

Made my porridge thousands of times but every time i try to add pypro's chocolate flavoured whey after microwaving for 2 mins it goes lumpy and tastes bloody horrible.
Now i just add everything to the blender for about 30 secs and drink much simpler

Re: whey in with the porridge

I have about 6 tubs of boditronics whey which I mix with oats. Keeps it interesting! My favourite is, 130g oats, 2 scoops of Banana Split flavour whey, 1 Banana and a tablespoon of natural peanut butter.

I nuke the oats and peanut butter then mix cold water into the oats, let it cool then add my whey. Very tasty. It's like eating cake mix without the feeling of guilt. Peanut toffee mixes nicely aswell especially with the addition of some peanut butter.

Since dieting Oats and whey have become my favourtie food. I will be taking full advantage of this in the off season

Re: whey in with the porridge

I make mine cold.

65g oats a serving of choc Prop-pep, 15g raisins, 10-20g PB or chopped almonds mix up well dry first then add water.

Leave in fridge a few hours so the top sets.

Yum Yum
