went to the gym today after a week off...
damn snow kept the kids home last week, the missus is ill so no leaving the kids....
she is better today so off i toddle...
did my routine as usual...
5x5 squats @ 100kg
5x5 standing ohp @ 55kg
then onto deads....
warmed up with 100kg (much to the amusement of a couple of young lads who were laughing at the fat boy in the gym)
added another plate per side did 2x5 at 140kg
(at this point the lads realised i could lift double what they were trying on the power rack... and they just stared)
added 10 per side and did 1x5 @160kg (pb)
added another 2.5kg a side and managed 3 reps @165kg.....
feeling a bit good but tired at this point but onto bench..
managed 5x5 @ 70kg.. i know.. i'm shyte on bench, but it is one of the last moves i do...
ahh well.... i'll try again later in the week.
