I have decided to go for it and post my blog on this site. I've already typed it once, but my server went off and I lost it all.

Went for a night out to a karaoke, and spent all night singing and dancing Drank water with a slice of lemon all night and got home at 2.30 this morning.

I have decided to start this blog on my day off the gym and work. The one day I get to rest and relax -ha ha. I have just cleaned the house, hoovered and got things ready for the week. It is 42 in the shade with 80percent humidity and I am lathered.

Had 4 scrambled eggs (2 whole plus 2 whites ) for breakfast and rice flakes with nuts and seeds added. Can't have porridge or wheat cereal as I am allergic to some gluten and wheat. Also 2 glasses of water, a cup of tea and 1 lipo 6.

Having a protein shake as I type this blog and more water. Have to drink water none stop at the moment to stay hydrated.

My other half, God bless him, bought me a lobster as a treat for my lunch, so that will be going down well with a huge salad with tons of rocket and spinach leaves, sprinkled with local olive oil and olives. A feast!

Haven't decided what to have for the other meals yet today, but the veal steak grilled on charcoal is calling my name again...



Still on fairly low carbs most days, with a moderate day every four days. It seems to suit me and I have tons of energy. Have a refeed day every week or so .
Talking of refeeds, just had a strange email from my friend in London. Says she is comfort eating and has taken to eating loaves of nimble bread with chocolate spread at night watching tv. Can she come and stay with us for a holiday?



Going to Corfu town tonight to watch my kickboxing instructor (and sparring partner ) fight for Greece against Bulgaria in the park. Hope it cools down a bit by then! Will I be excited and shouting for him?- you bet I will. He's a great teacher and mentor.

Christmas countdown

I went to the gym this morning, had a good look at all the people around me, and realised that most of them are putting on weight and bodyfat for the winter. I don't know if they are doing this on purpose or if it is just the change in the weather and their diets.

I also realised it is almost exactly a month to Christmas, when most people will be over indulging for a couple of weeks . I got to thinking that I don't want things to get out of hand where my diet and training is concerned....

Battening down the hatches.....

Having seen the Greek severe weather warning last night on the news I have missed my cardio session at the gym today to get ready for the **** weather that is promised to us over the next few days.

It appears that the arctic blast which will hit Britain will move down Europe and hit Greece as far south as Crete.We are forecast to get extremely cold temperatures, some chance of snow and force ten winds starting from tonight.

Got up and put on a jumper and a fleece, jeans...

I've got to change my training!

Well, after four days of really suffering and a full night of not being able to get comfortable in bed in ANY position I have taken the inevitable decision that my training programme has got to be changed.

For the last few weeks I have been on a new programme with heavier weights and intense workouts four mornings a week. The problem is that they are consecutive mornings and I added a pilates class one night and a full morning of cardio at the end.

I hate to admit this,...

Aching all over and soaking wet

Have just got in from the pilates class at the gym. It is getting tougher every week with the teacher pushing us further and further.

It didn't help that my arms, chest and legs are sore as hell from the weight training sessions this week.

Had to take my trainers and socks off to do the pilates tonight as they were soaking wet from the walk from the car park to the gym.

On our fifth consecutive day of none stop torrential rain here in Greece and the place...
