Today is the day.

Today is the day that i have put the idea of me going to the gym and really sorting this out into action. I will be using this blog as a time scale.

All i need to do now is sort my diet, which gym I'm going to go to, and exercise plan out.

Ps, first ever blog so sorry about how crap it is but it will get better.

Training for Leeds Half

Posted 06-07-2008 at 05:04 PM by MrGum
Just entered the Leeds Half Marathon. I did it last year (my brother in law challenged me to it!). Anyway we are both doing it again.
I realised that it is only 9 weeks away, and I haven't been running much for the last month or so.
Anyway, I have written up a schedule which will allow me to do all my strength training and should still prepare me for a decent half.
I ran 11 miles today. Felt good. My quads have definately gained size as a result of the squats I have been doing....

Had a good weekend .
Cardio saturday for 30 mins and had to cheat last night! Pizza hut filled a hole!

Anyway, the day I hate, Leg day. Before you think wuss, I hate it because my knee prevents me from doing any decent quad work!

Session: Leg extensions: 3 * 15 at 25k
