Trapped Nerve?

Hey Guys,

I trained my back last Friday, and the last couple of days I've started to get like a little twitch at the lower right side of my back.

It feels fine, but then I can do the slightest movement and it's like something is "tweaking" and causes a little sharp pain.

Does this dound familiar, and how can I go about getting rid of it? I'm supposed to train back again today and legs tomorrow, and I think it could hinder my squats also.

Craig.

Re: Trapped Nerve?

Rest up some more and apply ice/heat to the injury site.Anti iflammatory gels/tabs are also useful

Definitely avoid back and leg work until symptoms have passed. Not what you want to hear but essential if you don't want to make things worse.

If still no relief after rest and self help, visit a physio/chiro.

Re: Trapped Nerve?

Hey Para,

Thanks for the response.

They were my thoughts exactly. I'll leave my Back and Legs untill next week and see how I feel then. To be fair, I tried the squat movement in my house the other day and it was stinging, this morning it's not as bad, so hopefully in a couple of days with some rest I will be good to go!
