Arm Excersise With Dumbelss To Improve Lineout Throw In Rugby

Hi,

I am looking for some persistences to do with dumbbells to improve my line out throwing in rugby. I think if I train my Biceps and Triceps my throwing distance and power will increase.

What are some good exercises I could do?

Increasing overall upper body strength will help as in the line-out you have a lot of synergists..

The main muscle used is the triceps though, get lifting on those dips and pushdowns

overhead dumbell extensions? try and build up some explosive power there with your movements.

Just a thought... you could throw a weighted ball to a partner when doing situps. Abs and a good overhead throw.. bangin.
