forearm pain help?

Hi,
I am experiencing some pain from an old injury.
A few years back before I was a regular gym goer a friend gave me a bicep curl to do that was far to heavy. Not knowing at the time I got a sharp pain down my left forearm when i tried to curl the weight. It is about 9 inches down from the wrist on my little finger side. Right between the muscles I can feel on the back of my forearm. Under the bone. I think it was caused by a tear and scar tissue formed.
This week doing some bicep curls its really hurting again. I can avoid the pain doing hammer curls but if i curl with my palms facing upward it really hurts.
Can I ask has anyone heard of this injury before? I know rest is an answer to it but can I get any treatment or do something to eliminate it.

Many thanks.

Re: forearm pain help?

If it is scar tissue then there is no real solution. I have a similar problem in my lower back after a ligament tear.

Not sure if strapping it might work? Ninepack may have some crafty ideas. Other than that, GP or physio for a proper diagnosis.
