wrist injury

hi, been told by physio that ive got a type of tendonitus (trigger thumb he called it) in my wrist and hes adviced me to rest it, this is gonna screw up my weight sessions at the gym,

basically im after some advice with what i can do to limit muscle loss and weight gain while i cant do upper body excersies.

Resting will do you good anyway. How long ago was your last break? Keep up your protein & don't overload on carbs & you'll be ok.

Did the doc say how long you'll be out? You can still train your legs (leg press, leg ext etc)

Another important thing is to try and figure out what caused the injury in the first place and obviously avoid that in future - trigger thumb sounds like an xbox related injury!
