tendonitis

im doing a course in sports massage therapy at the moment & i've found out that i have tendonitis in the bicep tendon that connects to the shoulder, i often get discomfort there & tbh i thought it was to do with my anterior deltoid. so im happy now that i know what it is but i would like to know what people think i shoud do. are there any supps that i can take to help this? what about R.I.C.E, should i use this principle after i train my chest, bi's & shoulders? it does seem to cause me alot of pain & ive had for atleast a couple of years, any advice would be greatly appreciated

Re: tendonitis

Bet it was from bench.
About the best thing you can do is strengthen your rear delts and rhomboids.
My outer bicep tore from my shoulder, I got that from benching too much and not paying attention to the rear delts and rhomboids.

Most injuries will go away if you give them enough rest, anti-inflammatory drugs might be in order during the healing process.

Re: tendonitis

You could also try Cissus, and bringing your grip in a bit to take the shoulders out of it more, and increase the triceps use.

Does it hurt with shoulder width close grip bench?

Re: tendonitis

thanks for your replys guys it hurts on wider than shoulder width bench, ive not done closer grips for a while but i imagine i won't have a problem with it. whats cissus mate? can tendonitis lead to a more serious problem in that area?

Re: tendonitis

Cissus is an herb from some plant.
It is pretty cheap too.

Bring your grip in, if something hurts, and you keep doing it, you will only make it worse, maybe to the point where it will never heal properly (I speak from experience, :( )

Cissus

Have a look on here too, both Hackski and myself have written about our experiences with it.

Re: tendonitis

I bought 2.2 lbs for $100.00 and I cap mine myself.
2.2 lbs would make thousands of cissis caps.

I tried everything mate, GH, deca, aflutops, and cissus is the only thing that worked.

Buying it in powder is not that expensive, look for it already capped; that is expensive, and normally only a 5% extract too.

But the info is there for you to use as you wish,

Oh man, if you can hear it this would not be a good thing.

Believe it or not, I just bought some detox patches that goes on the bottom of the feet.
Supposidly it draws heavy metals out of the body and deposit's them in the patch.
It is negatively charged ion's which attract positively charged toxing.
Some swear by it.
I will let you know....
