![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sore Wrist Due to work commitments, I haven't been training as consistently as I normally do and over the last few weeks it has been pretty random. Last Friday I started to experience pains and stiffness in my wrist and the last time I trained prior to this was on the tuesday. I've only been able to train legs since the pain started as I can't even bend my hand as it's stiff and sore. Im like a cripple and it's starting to get me down a bit as the pain is not subsiding! I've always had weak wrists and ankles, but this is a bloody joke! Anyone else ever experienced anything similar?? What did you do? Trip to the quack?

I had the exact same thing. I trained chest and tri's on the Saturday. By Sunday I couldn't even unscrew the lid from a bottle. Pain was not so bad on the Monday so did legs and cardio only for the next week. 7 days later I did shoulders with lighter weight than normal and all apears to be ok now. Haven't quite cranked the weight back up to maximum yet (2 weeks later) for fear of doing damage again. | |

I say all but i know hoe important training is to all of us so: Use wraps to help with the lifts/pulls whilst recovering also use angles bars to perform lifts/pulls, instead of straight bars. If it is carpel tunnel syndrome, then fish oils a plenty and definately rest is what you will have to do. Not sure if you use AAS or HGH, but AAS tends to make you stronger than your tendons can handle at the rapid pace they grow and you can get dry joints with some compounds so I assume dry tendon sheaths too. | Getting bigger | Re: Sore Wrist I have this now! I am going to the docs on Monday to see if I can get signed off for a couple of days as I work as a printer and cant help but keep annoying it. I have put it down to lifting heavy a little too quick and as soon as wrist allows will stick to lighter sets and be sure to increase with a little more caution. Heat treatment is the way.

| UK-Muscle Male Animal | Re: Sore Wrist I train heavy and am an avid Racquetball player. My right wrist hurts and for me, I take my left hand and wrap it around the small of the wrist and expand the gap between the hand and wrist. Just take your thumb and index finger and grab the smallest point of the wrist and make a gap. You can also rotate the hand for even better relief. Not having a go, but I like ice better than heat.
