B. Robbo is on a distinguished road
tendon pain.

Does anybody out there suffer tendon pain in the crease between your bicep and forearm.
Ive recently started getting it real bad and its starting to mess up my training.
Any advice on why i get this and how to prevent this would be appreciated.
Thanks

Yes, I have it bad, I got when I was grappling, and never let it heal properly, now it is a constant injury.

I had to give up grappling/MMA because of it.

Do a search on here for Cissus, it is the best thing I have used by far.

Yes
RICE
Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation

Dude, you are going to need a layoff to let that heal, will take anywhere from 8-12 weeks.
Don't do nothing that aggrivates it.
Sorry, but that is what I would do.

Hmm, one of the exercises I would avoid when it comes to this type of thing is preacher curls. An ex-training partner of mine tweaked both his arms in that spot you're describing and had to layoff training because of it.

/bump for what Hacks said. I'll have to remember that acronym too, Hacks :P RICE.

But the real deal is the rest.
I have heard that rotator issues can be cleared up 90% of the time with just a layoff, unless it is a total tear.

I find Preacher curls the one type of curl I can do with this injury, as it isolates the bicep, taking that tendon out of the movement.

Nah, Im saying that you should not do anything that aggrivates it for a while.
Other wise you will lengthen the healing time if it ever heals.
