Unhappy long term tendon pull

I had picked a too heavy load about 4 years ago. There was great pain in both my bicep's tendon. Due to wrong information I just rested without any rehabilitation and till now my tendons paiwhen working even with moderate load.

Please tell now what kind of rehabilitation should I start.

I think if it's been 4 years mate, you've left it too long....however the best advice would be to go and have a consultation with a physio, and see what they recommend.....

Hi,

You need a physio consult mate as Rob said, but you will need one that specialises in exercise therapy not a standard NHS one. It will cost about £25 for an hour session.

Chances are you have scar tissue built up and only painful 'frivtion' therpay and stretching is gonna help.

Good Luck

Thanking you for the advice.

But doctors just ignored it as weakness or some other vague thing and now I don't have sufficient $ to be patient again.

My biceps tendon pain after some moderate work and takes weeks to heal, it is 30% strong after that.

Please help me in some way.

Thanks

I totally agree, but good physio's are hard to find.

If it does not hurt, its probably not doing you much good.

Spot on advice here.

I think collagen helps connective tissue to some degree.
I take it.

I have a re-occuring connective tissue injury and recently i started taking "Himalya - Rumalya Forte" and i swear by it.. since i started taking it i've felt MUCH better.. however different stuff works for diffrent ppl so you might have to look around a bit but bein 4yrs old injury.. maybe you should see physician

tendons dont have capillaries pass through them which means no blood circulating them which makes it quite hard to repair and in some cases would need surgery.
