Active Release Techniques

Has anyone tried active release techniques as performed by physio's and chiropractors?

I have heard that this can sometimes be a miracle cure for many soft tissue injuries and especially for problems like tennis elbow and rotator cuff injury. Has this worked for any of you? :crutch:

Now that sounds like something I would be most interested in knowing more about having suffered from a tennis elbow on my left arm.
