| The Lady Of The Manor | Training Routine Which do you guys think is a better way to train: one body part a night (so five nights a week consecutively) or training 3 times a week - 2 body parts a night. Im thinking of reverting back to training 3 times a week and adding more cardio in between, purely a time factor thing for me - just so busy at the minute and not finding time for anything else. Do you think this is beneficial so muscles can recover for longer? or do you think the second muscle group to train will be pre exhausted from the first muscle trained on one evening??? Help.......... |

I could recommend training the whole body 3x`s a week in peripheral heart fashion or as the call it nowadays a curcuit..the difference being thet with the phf you train a single bodypart for 3 sets(5-10 secs rest between sets)then move onto the next bodypart...starting with the biggest bodyparts then finishing with the smallest...whole routine should be done in under 30mins..... Or you could train on a upper/lower body split training 4 days aweek and training each bodypart twice a week using many many different exercises and rep/set formats...so you could do upper body monday lower on wednesday then upper on friday then lower on sunday and just keep repeating....... Or if time is very limited you could split the body in to 3 workouts and train 3 on 1 off and repeat..so you are training 6 out of 7 days and then there is no need to do any cardio as your training at such a fast pace that it aint really needed.... |
