Re: Over training?

triceps are heavily over worked in my opinion,

deadlifts should be in there but if its because of the leg injury then fair game cant do anything about it, are you lifting heavy to the point of gritting teeth on the last rep, if so...

between the guys that have pimped your routine, looks good to me! diet is priority now

Re: Over training?

Ive taken on board all you guys have said, heres what ive come up with, few things changed to suit me, im just unsure about throwing deads in on back day.

Chest- 4/5 sets flat bench
4/5 sets incline bench
3 sets DB Press
2 Sets DB Flys( If i cut these out i ont think im worked enough, is there a better alternative?)

Triceps- 4 sets of 10 dips
3/4 sets overhead rope pulls
2 sets rope pull downs
2 sets skull crushers

Back- 5 sets overarm chins
5 Sets seated rows
4 sets bentover rows
Deads?? Unsure.

Biceps- 3 sets seated DB curls
2 sets standing BB curls

Shoulders- 4 sets DB Press
4 Sets BB Press
2/3 sets latteral raises

Traps- Same.

Think thats better although im sceptical as i find it hard to be fully worked even though i do go heavy and with good form but ill try this for4- 6 weeks and see how i progress.

Re: Over training?

Way too many sets and way too much isolation IMO.

How long have you been training?
What's your routine like?
What's your diet like?
Are you on AAS?

I bet you are overtraining - your body just hasn't started to complain yet.

You may have just answered your own thread there matey! You might be struggling to progress due to this. I don't know of many people that train body parts that frequently.

Re: Over training?

nope no AAS for me. i started out with the one bodypart a week malarky and didnt make any gains over the first couple of years i trained, i then changed up my routine which was suggested by senior member at gym, since ive been training in the way i described above this is when all the gains kicked in dmcc check my thing in members pics for my diet and routine... lol dru you might be onto something there! however this is how ive gained the most mass so dont see how changing it now would make it any better? i still leave a good 3 or 4 days between muscle groups ;)

Re: Over training?

1 or 2 depending how I feel. i am a student though so get alot of "rest" as to say.i like training too much though so alot of the time the answer is no lol. my friend trains in the exact same way and is a BEAST, but he eats double me i just cant stomach that much, or afford it.
