Top/bottom split

Hello All,

Just wondering if this sounds mad or OK. I have noticed my legs appear to react best to regular high volume training but my upper body responds best to low volume 5x5 style training so i figured why not use them both?

anyone see any glaring problems with this?

Cheers

Colin

Re: Top/bottom split

Why not take it further and work out which mucle groups like which reps

Take that further and see if they like those reps with more frequenccy and or volume

Then find which exercises work for you on each muscle group

Prime example, your forearms wont like low volume and low reps

Re: Top/bottom split

Cheers Lads

I think I have been guilty of just blindly following routines instead of taking note and reacting to what works.

The body part that has me foxed is my upper arms. Bi's and tri's. They are tiny for a 16 stone so called body builder (although i must say only just started bbing properly with diet etc)

I did seprate them out for there own day and put an inch on them but i was running superdrol at the time so unsure if it was purely the steroid stopping the overtraining or if my arms do in fact need more attention and intensity.

Cheers

Colin
