Google Bill Starr and 5x5 and read some real honest training information for a change
Disagree with just about everything you say in fact find it horrible information to give
Go study to fibre type of the gastronemius and come back and tell me 5 rep squats will make them grow alone, in fact 5 reps as a stand alone plan

Synthol, now there's a thought!!!
you should give the routine that was suggested by cellarat a try, been doing it since it was suggested, it's painful, brutally so to be honest, but ive noticed an increase in size and definition which is a bonus, although im yet to take a measurement. the alternation between different grips seems to hit the heads of the bicep in a way i hadn't felt previously.

let me know how you get on if you try it.

This is a nice article on lagging body parts by Christian Thibaudeau who has got to be the coach most in vogue at the moment. A title well earned IMO

not just yet pal, i always assumed no one would be interested, but that's not really what it's about, more about keeping yourself on track i suppose.

They just introduced a blog section on the board and I think alot of ppl are planning or useing it for that purpose...I had one running on another site and it helped tremendously and aloud a constant critique of how things were looking...After we move into our New House in a couple of weeks I will be training hard again and will be using this blog section as my daily journal of both training, diet, and personnal rantings...doesn't cost a thing so it would be worth a look into...Cheers

Re: stubborn biceps

Obviously alot of your growth will be determined by your genetics but I have to agree with everyone one here. Leave them alone OR train them as instructed.. It's really a case of finding what works for you. There is no right or wrong answer as your body will respond eventually but it's just a case of working out the correct formular. You say you hate training Biceps? Maybe because of this you don't focus enough when training them and don't keep each rep spot on. Be positive mate They will grow.

I'm still trying to work out how to get my calves to grow but that's a whole other thread LOL

thanks for the input mate, just finished reading you contest log a couple of days back, it was an interesting read. keep up the good work, your determination is inspiring.

as much i do dislike training biceps, i train them with the same intensity/focus that i would any other muscle group, it's just the pain afterwards i hate lol. its probably more down to poor genetics when it comes down to my biceps, but such is life, i'll just need to keep going with them, and like you said....they will grow (eventually).

what are you doing for your calves as a matter of interest mate??
