advice on my routine please

hi ive been training bout 2 years and im happy with my gains, been sticking to my 3 day split changing it every few weeks, thing is my workouts are a bit ova squeeze and i feel im not having enuff time and training each muscle equally, plus i find im realy tired all the time at the moment im thinkin of tryning this as apose to my 3 days split

this is my split at the moment

mon- delts, quad, hams

wed- back bisep trap

fri- chest tri calves

this is my new one i want to try

mon- back traps

wed- quad, ham, calves

fri- chest bisep

mon- delts trisep

wed - repeat

i saw a routine similar to this posted by tiny tom, just want some feed back, obveously i want to gain size and could i do that by sticking to this, and also be getting more rest, or should i maybe try something different like full body routines?
thanx any help would be great

:lift:

Re: advice on my routine please

Newbie gains are like that it comes fast but then you hit a brick wall. after that every pb is hard won.

But changeing your routine might help but i suspect its just your gains slowing down naturaly because your no longer a beginer.

To be honest then, going from one split routine to a very similar routine is probably not going to help you. You need to change things up a bit more drastically, such as full body - lots of compounds. You may need to start looking at your diet now, as you're definitely more intermediate and this is where diet starts to count big-time.

Re: advice on my routine please

Looks like an excellent routine dude. Start off with comfortable weights that you can get your 5x5 easily and add a small amount of weight to the bar each session and you'll do just fine
