Da Goon will become famous soon enough
Fast twitch/ Slow twitch

Recently I have made enquiries about my training. The guy said I had a greater percentage of a particular twitch fibre (slow or fast - can't remember). He said that I needed to be doing high reps (i.e 5 sets of 20 reps) 3 exercises per bodypart.

The way I as training (low sets and low reps), he said I was only stimulating one type of twitch fibre and neglecting the other.

He also went on to say that you must avoid lactic acid build up (i.e DOMS) if you get to that stage you have knacked it all.

If I do high reps though I do get a lactic acid build in my muscle and DOMS later?? So confused  Anyone shine a light on this??
