| Shortman Syndrome | Re: arms / next level? I have the same problem with my biceps... I have put on nearly 3 stone in the past 6 months whilst remaining at the same bodyfat (aided) and yet my arms haven't really grown much. I do bicep curls and then pick a second exercise (usually seated dumbbell raises) and yet they don't grow... it can't be genetics as my mum, dad and little bro have enormous bi's.. |

Firstly it would depend on the persons height Secondly on how much is lean Thirdly Where they've added muscle too, what their training focuses on etc Lastly, origin & insertion points You cant just generalise like that lol |

Adz, I do think MXD is right in a way, I have heard the same aswell tbh, if you look at it like this, if someone puts on 14-20lbs...then normally that weight is abviously spread around and not in one particular place, and so its very feasable that it can happen, when I was at my heaviest in the summer my arms reached 17 1/2" and I wasn't training them directly, but getting heavier.

Its actually a Poliquin quote. He does say however that the number rises considerably, obviously the larger the arm. As in the transition from 21" to 22" would take a hell ova lot more than 14lb gain.

| ;-) | Re: arms / next level? I deffo think its true when i gain about ten lean lb my arms grow about an inch maybe if you have black man genetics or just ridiculasly good arm genetics then sure they may just grow by them selfs but how many white guys do you see with massive arms and small every thing else.....and no i am not talking about the 15 inch arm night club bbs seeing that they are all arms ![]() |

I want there tape mesure! Arm wresling guys have one arm like that usualy, but there very special case. lets not forget the orignal bicep/chest boys the english longbow man they would have had a masive draw arm/uperbody. But I digress, I think after a point unless your mum has been playing away your looking at significant lean mass gain to increase the size of the arm. I guess you could specalise and do like 100 sets in a day for arms but thats a very short term fix (who amongst us can keep up a schedual like that?) Another way to make the arms look more impressive is to decrease the waist it will make your chest look fuller and the arms more impressive. You could try site injection into the tricep with your gear, the carrer oil from the PEDs helps a little bit I think (depending on volume). Other random stuff i got told was use esciline (but thats no longer produced...), cavajet ect... but that is cheesy. |
