Imo 45mins weight training is insufficient to deplete glycogen stores as there should be plenty in the tank gained from the quality of your diet. So for me,high/low gi is irrelevant(although personal experience suggests high gi encourages fat gains as imo bodytype and aas use will be a factor) as both will do the job fine. For interest i currently have banana/whey 30 mins pre 10gwhey/20g bcaa post 20mins later - sweet potato/eggs/cottage cheese & pineapple Thanks for the compliment ![]()
