Is this normal? I always thought that SLDL was more for hams and bent leg for back. :confused:

| UK-M Swimsuit model | Re: Deadlift question Deads are a compound move mate, you are gonna feel them everywhere. I would be more worried if you didn't feel them in your lower back and hams ![]() Straight legs are gonna hit your hams MORE, but bent they will still be used in the movement.

Not tried them "normally" - not that I can remember, anyway . And not tried the sumo stance.

TBH because I've really only ever done SLDL I'm not even sure what "normal" DL stance is! LOL

| Planning | Re: Deadlift question Sounds like your doing it fine mate whenever i go max on deadlifts my legs always lock out way early and i end up dragging it up all back.....perhaps not the best way but i can pull a fair bit and my back has always been my best body part. |
