WTF?!! Reverse Grip Bench Press!

What is this bloke doing?? Has anyone ever done this / heard of why you would do it?

To me it looks like the pressure on his wrists is massive, is he just a doughnut?!!

I don't like RGBP at all. Others will disagree - the Yanks seem to love it. It's banned in Powerlifting from memory.

Looks like hes a pler to me, reps have very little to do with increasing muscle in pling and other strenght sports.

powerlifter...yeah its just i prefer big lifts done slow and u can see htem agonizing other 6 reps thats what i find impressive...like if he added another 50LB or something then see the rep range drop..i would be up for that!

But yeah no doubting he strong as hell!

Yah, popular in the states but not that popular.
Holy fcuking hell that is a impressive life regardless.
That dude probably has a 500 pound bench.
Reverse grip tricep bench is for developing strong triceps for bench.
No doubt that dude has done them before but fcuk that is totally strong, he got more reps with 315 than I ever got with 225 (regular bench) and I did 335 in my day.

Sorry, but for you naysayers that is some of the most impressive lifting I ever saw.
