wtf 4kg in two weeks??

guys I've put 4kg in less than 2 weeks, haven't changed much my diet just swapped the 6rep series for the 10-12x3sets 2-3 excercizes for muscle group. Tried the GVT, wow it's tuff when you are used to lifting 5-6reps for short periods lol

oh well... something weird happened guys everytime I measured myself in the gym I was +1kg... wtf?

I've also been trying some very short high intensity around meals.

I'm sure it must also be fat other than muscle... but guys is it very noticeble having +4kg (9lbs) of fat more? I barely notice a difference in muscle definition... and I'm not huge :|

Any body can spare their few cents?

Re: wtf 4kg in two weeks??

just measured myself on my scales... bf is 14% if it is correct,

and 4kg should be a 5,5% in bodyfat shift!

Is that huge enough to see a big difference?

Re: wtf 4kg in two weeks??

If your eating plenty of carbs with high volume training you will increase your glycogen stores!!

Its a little trick i'm using to add an extra couple of pounds in a challenge i'm having with Bully

^^^^ What he said. For each 1g of Glycogen your body stores about 3g of water. (Thats in really simple terms)

Re: wtf 4kg in two weeks??

4.8 lbs of muscle in two weeks is not possible given you are natural.
Water retention comes to mind here.

3 days with low carbs (<50g ED) followed by 4 days with high carbs (> 500g ED) and I can easily drop 7lbs and gain 9lbs...

If his bodyfat mass has stayed the same / reduced it will be Lean Body Mass - Muscle + glycogen + water.

He's not competing though so no need to really worry about the water.

Re: wtf 4kg in two weeks??

My body fat has gone up a little guys. But thats what i want as im quite skinny.

Also my muscle size and strenth has gone up alot to.

I was 10st 9lb when i started and used to eat about 2 meals a day.

Just under 2 months later im 11st 7 3/4 and eating up to 8 meals a day.

I needed to put on some BF and im happy with my progress so far.

I want to bulk up a bit more and il cut when i see my BF going up alot.

Will be posting some pics of my progress in next few weeks
