| Newbie Trainer | Back To Training - Cant Wait! Hi guys. Basically I stopped doing weights and stuff over the summer (July up till now) cos Im a lazy ****!! Im at uni now and I have my one-to-one induction at the university gym tomorrow morning. I cant wait!! Basically I just have a few questions: 1 - Was thinking of starting the Max OT program. Ive heard its good. Any opinions? 2 - Unfortunately Ive put on weight over summer so Im having to lose weight also. Should be easy since I cant cook for **** and Im in self-catered accomodation. Im thinking a few carbs and good amounts of protein should let me lose weight and keep my muscle mass. What do you guys reckon? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated! |

![]() | Re: Back To Training - Cant Wait! I woudnt get sucked into the old "look like me in 12 weeks" rubbish that promises the world while you achieve nothing. Get a simple split routine, eat well and train hard with lots of cardio, oh and NO BEER if your tempted by those cheap uni prices forget it. |
