TRAINING INTO SYMETRY

do you think its a good idea to train something more or less due to symetry?

i know people like james l who are huge with great genetics dont train some parts as there big enough but im more thinking of say if 1 chest is fuller than the other or 1 lat is lower ect

would you always train equaly or adapt to correct this?

Re: TRAINING INTO SYMETRY

I dont think its possible to change muscle insertions as it were, if one lat is lower there is nothing you can do, you can enlarge muscle of course but this wont solve problem.
Same as different shape biceps, cant correct that either, look at arnold his arms very different shapes, he couldnt correct that, its just genetics, however if one shoulder for instance is smaller due to injury the obviously that can be corrected.

Re: TRAINING INTO SYMETRY

one of my quads is larger than the other and I just can't seem to bring it up with the other, no-one else can see it but I know it is. I used to have a similar thing with my traps, but now the other one has caught up and I did nothing different.....

Re: TRAINING INTO SYMETRY

A lot of the time a bodypart looks bigger or smaller due to the way you stand or because of a trapped nerve or tight muscle.

I've found that by having sports massages regularly a lot of my little problems have been recitifed.
