Re: overtraning

There are signs of overtraining, loss of appetite, insomnia to mention a couple.

But for me, i can tell when im over training because progress stops!! Simple as that.

By progress i mean weight on the bar!! If your not getting stronger, your not getting any bigger!

Re: overtraning

As above. You know when you are overtained imo.

I become a pain in the @rse and very argumentative/aggressive. Sometimes you dred training because you are tired and also you aren't progressing. Early morning cardio and training in the same day make me feel like this.

Unless you are eating a fair few cals, on that routine you may well be overtraining. Post up in more detail and include your diet.

Re: overtraning

yeah when you get to know your body well enough you just know. I'd been training for 10 weeks up till last week. I did my usual back workout on monday and just felt ****. nothing felt good, no pump and felt drained so I just knew. Taken a week off now and I feel great and ready to go again. The thing is everybody is different so what may cause overtraining for me might not someone else. Just try and see how you feel mate and you'll know when you are.
