Is this just seomthing you want to try out mate or is it for a certain reason ie you can only do so many days per week.

IMO its overkill unless you have all day to rest and before long you will feel very overtrained.

i honestly think this would be better for me cos i love to train and my metabalism is very very quick!

well im not sure about 2times a day but how about 6days a week? 1day for each muscle group.. but wouldn't say do it more then 2weeks because i've tried it and although you feel great in the first 2 weeks, u start to feel really sluggish and overtrained afterwards.

- i hear you on the feeling tite bit, its a great feeling

how many days a week are you planning on training

i did a 5 day twice per day split for a couple of weeks when i was doin my PTing courses

Its a case of working similar areas twice in the same day eg

back am then biceps pm

cheat then triceps

quads then hams

shoulders then traps

that sort of thing


hope that helps......it was really tough, but saw some quick gains the week or two after........theb rest needs to be quality rest though

what exactly did you do mate light with high reps or heavy with low reps?

i can come home and just sit mate if i wanted to!

at the time i did it most of my training was 3 to 5 sets of pyramiding 12 to 5 or 6 reps, 1 exercise compound and 1 isolation.........good rest between exercise and longer between sets
