training mma and weights!!

alright guys and gals

got a dilemma goin on, after months of racking my small brainive decided to go back to my MMA roots, and start training again, as of tonight

i aint going be training religiously just yet, just easing my way back into it, giving my self 6 months, to get my fitness back and my basics back up to spec

now heres the thing

i still wanna carry on training(weights), as i still love it and still have yet to reach my goal of hitting 175-180 by the end of the year(naturally if possible), and this is still my priority

i work continental shifts 4 on 4 off, so i ll probaly be only training mma twice a week, and have to lift somewhere in between

i have been following bigs how to grow routine, with some good progress, but now is the time to change it up, got a few ideas for routines that ive getting from osc, but would love some more input

i weigh 160

so any ideas on a routine that will keep me gaining ?

also is this a realistic goal ?

many thanks

Re: training mma and weights!!

forget most if not all the bbing type movements you need to work on olympic lifts and powerlifting lifts (squat bench deadlift) and maybe a few assistance lifts thats what will improve your mma the most but it want bulk you up as much as the bbing type stuff.
