i suffer from lack of breathe quite a bit, mainley due to my crappy cardio fitness..which i am working on!

but has anyone used one of these POWERbreathe things?

never used 1mate but have heard of the system. Smoking realllly puts your cardio down in the gutters.. i stopped smoking 3months ago and now i feel i can train to run the marathon!!

I wouldn't buy it.
I would just keep the cardio going strong.
I would also learn how to breath deeply from the abdomen.
Most people just shallow breath using half of their lung capacity.

They have been proven to work really well

I havent used one personally, but 2 trainers i know have used them on clients with good results

It wont really help with your cardio fitness, but more with the overalllung power
