My chest workout..

I'm changing my chest workout and was hoping to see if this is a good change. I'm goind to do:

Flat bench DB 3sets x 8-10
Incline DB 3sets x 8-10
Dips 3 sets x 8-10
Abs 3 sets x 8-10

What do you guys think? For some reason, I feel like this is too little of a workout, but then I read from other posts that overstraining ur muscle is bad. I think this workout would take me about 45 minutes.. does this sound like a good routine? I usually do more and spend about 1 hour and 15-30 mins at the gym doing other various exercises.

Jon

i,m a bit confused between the dips and what you call pushdowns on two bars, two opposed bars? or a narrow straight bar?...

anyway.....

i,d put a stretching type exercise in there too....

like an inclined/declined flye or a few sets on the pec dec...

if the diets ok and you're resting properly then i cant see that little lot being classed as overtraining,....

and IMHO....
overtraining in real terms is more a misunderstanding of resting periods and recovery, rather than the actual exercises,....

ok i eliminated the push downs, and i'll concentrate more on dips. I think it's the same exercise except one is a machine.

Should the stretch exercise come before or after the incline and flat bench?

Are there any exercises I should do that would be highly beneficial to chest development?

Thanks,
Jon

Stretch would be last.
With those dips lean a tad bit fwd to target more chest.
But 3 compound exercises should work nicely for your strength and size.

How many times in a week are you going to work chest?

Yah, add legs in there.
You do work legs right?
This can help raise natural testosterone levels so you might want to consider them.

I don't work legs at the moment because when I did I felt no gains. I have some chicken legs and they've always been this way =\. What are some good exercises then to work legs and are they the same as working upper body;3sets of 8-10.

Really appreciate all these replies..I'm learning a hell of a lot.
