![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It def looks like alot mate but depending on the reps/sets/heavy-light ratio, it could be a good 'volume' workout. Please could you post more info p.s. Arnold was known for his high volume workouts but he was one of the greats who had ,gear, diet, training etc so it would be hard to follow his workout to a 'T'. You need to find what works best for you. Whats your training history ?? |

![]() | Never used gear - #1 don't know enough about it to try it #2 i'm a real baby when it comes to needles(i cant even watch them on the t.v). Generaly try to keep to 5sets/8-10reps - 3 exercises on large ie back/legs etc and 2 exercises on small ie bi's/tri's etc and train HEAVY(for me). I find tues/fri a long session with shoulders and total arms, but other than that I can usually recover enough for the next session. I do train on my own, unfortunalty none of my mates are interested in the gym, so training intensity i could say maybe an issue which allows me to follow this routine, but I do still get sore with training. I will try not to bore the crap out of you with the training history:- 18-25 trained in martials arts. 25-28 started using weight training for conditioning and like it so much I stoped the m/arts and only went down the gym instead. Trained 3 days a week being taught by a loser who barely new the basics. Still put on reasonable shape but not big. 28-32 baby tookover life and weight trained on and off + grew a belly. present ~ Been training since Jan, stoped drinking, am working on diet and started the above schedule, already done 6 weeks had a week break and now started again but looking at other routines to keep up the interest. As I now have access to the internet I have found this site and wish I had this info and access to so many brains years ago. Sorry its so long for those who read it all. ![]() |

| Your Friendly neighbourhood pusha! | Im not sayin or anyone saying to use gear, but for that routine you would be easily over training thus actually being counter productive, but for somebody on gear with a gr8 diet, rest, should gain nicley

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I just find mon-chest, tues-back, weds-legs, thurs-shoulders, fri-arms does me really well. Also do abs eod. Add half hour cv each day if cutting. I do 15-20 sets each body part, mainly 8-10 reps (heavy) when I'm bulking, then go to 20 sets each body part -12-15 reps when I'm cuttin, simple but works a treat. I increase weight each set on exercise, and start again when I move to new exercise.
