![]() | deteriorated strength as of late my strength hasn't been the same, having had a bad year 2 years training etc etc....you know that feeling when a muscle just gives up and you feel like dropping the weight, I'm having that more frequently, its very frustrating. Also overall my lifting capacity has decline also. Any suggestions and thoughts? I know it may be just as simple as correcting my diet, which I have to admit is not the best at times (moving to UK has affect it badly, i think its just the adjusting time) and definately the drinking, which is unlike me cos back home I hardly drank, again its most probably the london thing. Although I have quit drinking agian since after new year and trying to get back into training.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Are you overtraining? Could take a week off and start back. Drinking? I drink and I am getting stronger. It could be that but from my standpoint, nah, but it still is not any good for you after 2 drinks. Is that you in the avitar?

| Wondering how people have the time to do all this over-complicating | i was overtraining massively. a week off didnt help. so i took a couple of months off. this helped a lot but if i wasnt overtraining in the first place and i was getting enough sleep there would have been no need for a break. i have gone back to three days a week(was four) and feel much better for it. less is more

![]() | i train 4-6 times a week with 10reps of med-heavy sets and about 3-4 sets per excercise, 3-4 excercises per bodypart. My diet at the moment consist of 30% carbs, 65% protein, 5% fat. Eating 5times a day or more. Although last year when i moved to UK (oct) I was drinking every weekend and my diet was not good at all, but i was trying to train hard, maybe its just the diet and drinking. How long do you guys thing it will take for my strenth to come back if I stay consistent with my good diet and training. trickymicky69, suprisingly I gave up training cos I realised was going backwards around early december so I decided i may as well stop training for that reason and some other issues i was having, so thats about a month off. Now back at training straight after new years and I do feel a lot better. This is my second week and I feel real good.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Could be your diet. Seems the fuel might be a bit low. Me personally, Id drop some protein (thats not a fuel), raise the fat.
