Training advice

My traing has been great all week but my leg routine and yesterdays training dident go as well as I planned. My legs dident really hurt except my hamstrings a bit. When I was doing squats it felt as if the hamstrings were getting a work out not the quads. And my upper body work out yesterday wasen't intense as it was on monday. I put it down to lack of rest and fasting. I went sleep this week most of the time at 2am or 4pm plus I dident keep 2 fasts due to this but I dident eat six meals when I missed them. I know sleep is a factor but how important is it.

if you're fasting i would keep the training fairly light, your recovery will be limited if you're not eating for long periods of time.

I'm limiting my water intake today before the big way in tomoraow so the retained water can help me maybe lose a little more. Is this a good move also I'm not fasting today because I slept really late last night.

i wouldnt reduce you water if you're just weighing yourself, it wont be an accurate measurement otherwise. Weigh yourself once in the morning and once in the evening and take an average.

Keep drinking water as normal, dont try tofoll yourself with gains you arent making, water is important...

As for rest - Jeez ofcorse thats important - VERY important. You do not grow in the gym, you grow in your rest period.

Goto a well known web page (like bodybuilding.com, or even UK-Muscle) and spend the whole day reading non stop, listen to the pros and the guys who know their **** and learn from them, the more knowledge you have the easier things will be for you to understand.
