Question Help needed for an old git

Hi guys,
I am rapidly approaching 40 and have been training seriously for around a year following a lay off due to injury. I was previously nearing competition standard and have around 17 years gym experience. My problem is weight loss; i am 6.4 and at present 255lbs. I am not fat but have the old tyre around my middle. My top and middle abs are showing but i cannot shift the tyre no matter what i try. I am a vegetarian and eat clean following a six meal a day program. My diet is high protein with low carbs and fat; no dairy products apart from cottage cheese, skim milk and eggs (no yolks), i also drink around a gallon of water a day. Cardio is 4 days a week, first thing in the morning for around 30 minutes, either jogging with my dogs or on the bike.
I think that i am doing most things right but this stubborn fat is buggin me now. I have been on this diet strictly for around six weeks. Another thing is that i am due to start a cycle of anabol in two weeks and really didnt want to hold any more water..any surggestions or advice would be appreciated. Respect:lift:
